This 2024 is the 61st edition of the Duleep Trophy, which started on 5th September and will end on 22nd September. The four teams, Team A, Team B, Team C, and Team D will be playing against each other. The match will take place in the pattern of six, four-day matches. The matches will be held at two destinations which are Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh in the rural development trust stadium and ACA ADCA Ground.
Now coming to the teams, Team A, Team B, Team C, and Team D their captains are, Mayank Agarwal, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Rituraj Gaikwad, and Shreyas Iyer respectively. These players will be leading their teams as captains. The match can be live-streamed on Disney+ Hotstar and telecasted on Star Sports.
As for now about the match, we have seen the win of team India B over India A, and the loss of India D by India C. After the completion of round 1 of the matches we will now be witnessing the second round of matches where the game will occur between the winning teams and the losing teams, which is India A vs India D and India B vs India C.

The main aim of the Duleep Trophy is to provide a platform for the top players to showcase their talent and skills through this tournament. There are many top-notch players here who are already on the fringes of selection for the internationals, and this tournament acts as a helping hand for the selectors for the same.

- During round 2 of Duleep Trophy 2024, Rituraj Gaikwad who is also the captain for India C was injured during a match that cause and absolute reason for the injury wasn’t issued by BCCI but it seemed that he had an ankle twist, although he started his batting with a boundary hit, but the very second ball took him off from the ground due to injury.
- There is another tournament upcoming for the few selected players, due to which they were sent for the rest prior to the match. Many of the players were from India B and hence a star player from Kolkata Knight Riders joined India B in order to fill up the space, who is none other than Rinku Singh.
- Dhruv Jurel has created his name as a wicket-keeper by matching his wicket-taking skills to MS Dhoni which is 7 wickets in a single four-day match, where he took 5 wickets on day 3 and other 2 on the next day.
