Marketing is a whirlwind of constant change and complexity, so keeping our skills sharp and up-to-date is key. Staying current can be challenging, which is why on-demand learning is vital for any organization that wants to thrive in a hybrid environment. The field of education and development is moving toward a technology-based, learner-centered approach that emphasizes adaptability, engagement, and impact. This is where Cisco Marketing Velocity Learning (MVL) plays a vital role.
As the head of Cisco Marketing Velocity Learning, I put my heart into creating compelling learning experiences. I’m really excited about the journey of simplifying peer learning to ensure faster campaign adoption. This perfectly aligns with the North Star for MVL to enable partners to become effective Cisco marketers and align with Cisco’s strategy.
An overview of the new Marketing Velocity Central (MVC) courses.
The most exciting aspect of designing learning experiences is the opportunity to help our partners address the ever-growing skills gap created by the rapid adoption and disruption of technology. As forecasts of learning and development trends predict, upskilling, reskilling and right skills training programs will become priorities for most companies. That’s why we’ve developed an updated series of MVC courses. This learning experience is designed to walk partners and distributors through the various features available in MVC, help efficiently activate campaigns independently, and enable partners to maximize potential.
For a quick overview of what’s in store for our partners, we’ve created an MVC Toolkit tutorial video that highlights all the benefits of taking the courses. Additionally, the MVC Toolkit infographic simplifies navigating the partner journey and offers a comprehensive overview of everything available. Its popularity is evident, consistently ranking among MVL’s top performing assets month after month, quarter after quarter
Self-service marketing: No salespeople or special software needed
We believe that whether users are new to MVC or are seasoned practitioners, there is always room to improve their toolkit. MVC equips partners with the essential tools to create joint marketing campaigns in line with Cisco’s strategies and offers ready-to-use content blocks. Explore these courses to learn how to save time through effective marketing services, including campaign management and asset customization, all without the need for special software or third-party vendors.
For busy professionals, microlearning is a valuable tool. MVC courses offer short, short instructional sessions, typically 3-10 minutes long, to facilitate quick and effective training.
Marketing learning that works for you
Since “one-size-fits-all” training no longer applies, MVC courses have been designed as modular building blocks. This approach allows partners to create individualized learning paths, select what is most relevant, and leave the rest to create a customized MVC Toolkit.
This comprehensive set of courses starts with the basics of running campaigns in Marketing Velocity Central. Participants can start by setting up their profiles, uploading contacts, browsing the platform and activating campaigns. Each module takes less than 10 minutes and effectively builds MVC skills.
For those who already have the basics covered, it’s easy to dive right into the specific courses for each segment. Partners can learn to configure and customize one-touch or multi-touch email paths, launch campaigns directly to contact lists, and download assets tailored to their logo and call-to-action—all without the need for special software or a vendor.
Learn – simplify – grow
MVL is packed with resources such as campaign videos, infographics and event recordings to help partners learn about Cisco’s focus areas such as AI and Account-Based Marketing (ABM). You’ll find everything you need from MVC offerings, branding guidelines, and marketing tools like SEO and Social Selling, all in one easy-to-access place.
Stay tuned as MVL joins MVC later this year, bringing education and campaigns even closer together.
